Lately I’ve been playing around with doodling inside my sketchbook using drawing pens, pencils and watercolours, I really love exploring shapes in this way and find it very calming.

Ive been playing around with my new watercolours trying to get a feel for them and enjoying every minute of it! I have a long way to go but Im embracing the learning curve and just experimenting with them.
My latest addiction is staring at wild flowers while we are out walking our dog and trying to identify them, I decided to do a journal page featuring wild flowers as you can see from the featured picture below:

I want to share with you a page of doodles I did yesterday inspired by a photo of jewellery I saw in a magazine.
The picture I used for inspiration is below:
The shapes of the earrings above justĀ appealedĀ to me, they remind me of a mixture of Egyptian and Rennie Mackintosh. I loved the shapes so much I decided to use them as inspiration to doodle on my journal as you can see below:
